Because if you search this issue what you actually find is that the team did not disclose anything.
And that leaves places like for example CBS sports presumably not knowing something that only this message board seems to "know."
Until I see a quote or a link, I am going to be wary about backing a rumor whose effect is to slam a good player's professional integrity.
If there ever really is such a report (with links and quotes) then so be it. Till then it's a rumor.
