Before McVay, Goff was a mess and by no means a top NFL QB.Should he have thrown for 400 yards against the Patriots and Falcons? Thrown 5 TDS in the pouring rain of Miami?
Was Gurley a bust? He sure looked awful.
I guess Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Troy Aikman didn't have bad rookie seasons either.
With that awesome offense by Fisher and that great OC and terrific running game the Rams had, I thought Goff should have thrown for 5000 yards as a rookie.
