Couple of thoughts...
It’s been said that Cooks was traded because Brees lacked the arm strength to take advantage of Cooks deep speed. In many of these passes Cooks was seen to have slowed up and forced to wait for Brees’ deep ball. Hopefully, Goff can let Cooks break free and still hit him deep in full stride.
The other thing is that on many of those passes Cooks wasn’t really open. In a few he was even tightly double covered, yet he made the catch, anyway. That ability is beyond huge. I predict stardom for Cooks in this Goff/McVay O.
