Den,
Interested in your take on the ILB situation.
PS You didn't mention Lawler re OLBs. Longshot?
Lawler listed as a DE, however, they have him dropping back into coverage and he's a high effort guy so we will have to see where he lines up in mini camp...As to ILB I love Kiser really smart guy that brings the wood and many are high on the kid out of Indiana Tegray Scales and every time Cory Littleton was on the field something good happened.
One would surmise Rams would want a bigger linebacker on the field during 1st and 2nd downs and that would leave Hager, Ramik Wilson & Kiser battling it out, but again Snead continued to mention Littleton so that will be an interesting battle during training camp & preseason.
As has been mentioned a lot, Wade has a longstanding habit of getting good ILB production out of lower round picks and "ronin" (young UDFAs and low picks cut by other teams, eg. Wilson).
Rams ILB candidates right now according to the current official roster:
26 Barron, Mark 6-2 225 6 Alabama
54 Hager, Bryce 6-1 237 3 Baylor
48 Howard, Travin 6-1 213 R TCU
59 Kiser, Micah 6-2 240 R Virginia
58 Littleton, Cory 6-3 225 2 Washington
46 Scales, Tegray 6-0 227 R Indiana
52 Wilson, Ramik 6-2 237 4 Georgia
7 for 4 spots?
I am going to make a guess right now and say that Kiser is the starter on the defensive right-side ILB.
