Much more worried about Cooks and Peters at this point. AD has a contract. He has to play for it or sit out. If he sits out he loses an earning year and a FA eligibility year. Maybe his agent convinced him to start doing a hold out, but as the team begins playing without him and we would still probably win, it would be difficult for him to remain out over money.
Or demand a trade. (And the Rams are not stupid enough to let him sit for 3 years getting nothing for him.)
And if the Rams won't sign Donald and instead attempt to become the only team in the league to keep a guy in his position (3rd year re-negotiation) under a low ball rookie contract plus lowball tag, why would Peters want to sign with them?
All that aside it's a mistake if you believe they cannot sign all 3--Donald, Cooks, Peters.
