It's not a coincidence that only three Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks since 2006 have had a cap number that was 10 percent or more of the league salary cap in that year, according to numbers found at Over The Cap(Peyton Manning twice, Eli Manning and Tom Brady once), with at least two of those players (Peyton and Brady) qualifying as franchise quarterbacks.

First, 2006 was 13 years ago.......small sample too, very small

several of those QBs were on rookie contracts: Ben R, E Manning, R Wilson...Wentz would have been....Foles was a back up


So just too small of a sample, plus it helps Brady takes a discount for his team and they have won several of those Superbowls in the small sample
