43 I agree with you.

Wade and McVay know all about what Longcare, Littleton and Samson E. can do. I also think they like Fox as a pass rusher. Plus we added 4 more bodies in the draft, a UDFA and a FA.

With the cap you have to take some roster risks and you have to continue to add in young talent.

I think this defense is going to be a lot better than last year as these will be Wade's guys and he knows what he wants to do with each of them so that they can stand out.

I also don't think that there will be too many offensive lineman getting to our LB corp and this group is built for speed so running unimpeded to the ball with be huge.

Last year the Rams were 4th in sacks and 4th in sack percentage. (The run is a different story.)

They did that -->

with Quinn playing subpar for most of the most (not all of it, the 1st 10 games or so)...(3 sacks in the 1st 10 games)

with Longacre being who he is, which is not superlative, just average (5.5 sacks)

with Ebukam as a rookie (2 sacks)

with Brockers contributing but not redefining the position (4.5 sacks)

with Barwin chipping in and getting the most out of his last legs (5 sacks)

with Westbrooks chipping in as a rotation guy (4 sacks)

All of that looks to be based on the fact that Wade schemed around Donald and the attention AD drew gave others some chances.

They will still do that, but, maybe with even more success this time.
