I would kinda like to see what each back would do if teamed with the different O lines we have had in the past /present....How would SJ done with the lines in front of McCutcheon, or with Faulk, how would TGIII have done behind the front of MF.....ED with last years line.
It used to seem that who ever lined up in the backfield in the late to the 70's was a 1000 yard back.....IMO a testament of not only the back(s) but as much those O-lines.....just bad ass grunts.......
But IMO the one who really made your mouth drop was ED....his gear he hit was not to be believed unless you saw it....MF seemed to have like 12 sets of eyes to find his crease, and could start and stop on a dime....SJ when well could break bones......Gurly is just a baby...he's still growing into the spot IMO.....Dick Bass was IMO the 1st super star RB for the team.....Mac was a all purpose type guy he could run,catch, and pass.....and the list goes on....
I'd put our teams back history against any other team in the league and would say no one had a better grouping then us.
