When I attended Jack Youngblood & Jackie Slater going into the HOF in 2000, also inducted was Lynn Swann. I got to attend an autograph session with all inductees. Youngblood & Slater were great!!! I told Lynn Swann, "I hated your guts", he just laughed. I gave his autograph away to a friend. Evan when Blood was giving his speech those cocky Steeler fans, "What about 79 Super Bowl?". Blah, blah, blah. I had on my #85 jersey on, wearing it proudly!!! Funny, no Steeler fans said anything nice at all. Fans from other teams, Yes. "That guy was great", "helluva football player", "very deserving", etc. Steeler fans, nothing but snide comments on 79. A$$HOLES. I have been waiting a LLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG time. I live in South Central PA. Stuck between, Eagles & Steelers, and even some Ravens. F'em ALL. I want the chance to humble the Eagle blowhards and then the Steelers, that would be like heaven for me.
