I saw the Rams play in the Colosseum in 1950 or 51 too. I was 4 or 5. VanBrocklin, Crazylegs, Fears, Dan Towler and Tank Younger (what a team). Don't remember the opponent but do remember some long passes and VanB running around in the backfield like Tarkenton and taking some big sacks. Just one of the crowd, but it never wore off, really. I do miss the days before free agency when a team stayed together over the years. Some great rivalries that REALLY endured from year to year (same guys).
