We're several months early on any of this, but I think the anti-hype has now reached absurd levels. Yeah, proclaiming the Rams as Super Bowl champs in the early spring was silly, but pushing them down and almost out of the top ten . . . that's silly too.
I'd be very surprised if the Rams don't end up being a top three offense, and in the running for the Super Bowl, at least.
I think top five team overall is more than fair.
If they stayed a top 3 offense, stayed top 3 in Special Teams, and became a top 5 D, you'd think their SB chances would be pretty good. Right?
How often do teams rank near the top in all three categories and not contend for a Super Bowl?
