If he becomes their starting RT that's fine with me. Starting LT is a bonus in my opinion. Or maybe they are all in with him at LT. Who knows. I also don't dismiss Havenstein playing well in 2018 and earning an extension. Though maybe he earns that extension and gets slid inside to RG. A lot of moving parts and TBD. But with Noteboom and Allen I think they did what they wanted at this stage which is add some legitimate young talent and better depth. Go from there.
They can only pay so many linemen.
Not sure if any of the 3 OL FAs gets an extension. Safe bet I suppose is that they only do 1.
If it were me and I only did one I would make it Saffold. (There are older guards in the league still playing at a high level.)
My view is, it's easier to replace a right OT than a top veteran guard.
So who knows. Just adding to the "moving parts and TBD" list.
