Scales is better against the pass, he had 8 career picks. But he is smaller and doesn't handle taking on blockers as well as Kiser in the run game.
Both were leaders, both have +instincts, both take excellent angles, both look for contact. Kiser is a better finisher.
I like Kiser, but Scales isn't too far behind. THey complement each other.
I know this is a pipe dream, but with the big contracts that will be handed out soon, I am hoping to see these guys together.
A Defense like this in 2019 would not bother me:
AD / Dontavius Russel (2019 4th round pick) Brockers
Ebukam / Kiser / Scales / Obo
Peters / Joyner / JJ3 / Talib
