When I looked up the player profile for Kiser and Okoronkwo on NFL.com, it shows their position as "EDGE". I always thought edge referred to a defensive end, not a linebacker. What am I missing or misunderstanding?
Edge is an outside rush linebacker in a 3-4 scheme

I hadn't either. I think they used to call them tweeners, although I could be wrong about that.
