Couple of things. Firstly, it takes two to tango. We could want to trade all over the place but need a partner. Then, could be our coaches really like Mannion. He has looked good in preseason and is still the PAC 12 all time leading passer. He didn't look good in his start versus the Niners but was playing with all backups against the Niners starting D. Not really a fair game to evaluate him. So McVay might feel he has all the QBs he needs. Jewell might have been a nice pick but we might be set with Barron's and Littleton inside with Wilson and Hager the backups.
