The Rams first round pick is a proven 1000 yard WR with sub 4.4 speed who can blow the top off the D, run precision routes, and probably play any WR position and run any WR route. Rams made an excellent move to acquire Cooks by giving up 23. For those worried about resigning him? They know they will have to pay in the $16-17 mil per year range. They saw the FA market.
Arizona landed Rosen, I think the 2nd best QB in the draft after Mayfield. As with Bradford, the issue will be staying healthy. It's not a good track record for QBs who have injury histories in college to reverse the trend in the Pros. It is highly likely that Rosen will be starting ahead of Bradford at some point in 2018 simply because it is a near certainty that Bradford will get injured. Rosen can be a very good QB for the Cards.
The Niners reached in my view. McGlinchey is a good solid player but is he an NFL LOT? He is a mediocre pass blocker, although a very good run blocker. In the NFL, that's a ROT. But, even if he turns out to be only a real good ROT, they didn't blow the pick although they could have done better.
Seahawks have lost their way. The Penny pick was dumb, dumb, dumb. They should have traded down and picked up a 2nd or 3rd rounder and loaded up on Oline. Even if Penny is a quality starter, that's still too high for him. And they have had oline troubles for years and have done little to address them. This is eventually going to get Wilson injured and it's not going to help open holes for whoever is running the ball.
