The Giants would have had to be on board to take over Sammy's contract I think for that to work. That deal would work out to cost us roughly this year's #1 and #2 picks, since we paid a #2 for Sammy, for that diva.
Yes, OBJ is better than Cooks but I don't want that guy anywhere near my team. I'll take Cooks every day and twice on Sunday over OBJ to avoid the "extras" that come with that guy.
