I won't pretend I wasn't surprised by Aqib Iowa, but I understand it..

I'm guessing Talib was chosen to be there because he's an integral piece of the puzzle for the Defense to be more of a leader and less of distraction as he's been for many of his past seasons.

I don't know if it will change his zebra stripes because he is what he is.

I still like that Aqib was invited to the schedule show because he's getting long in the tooth now and maybe he will take more of a mature leadership role and not be so much of what his consistent past has shown.

Maybe I'm just having a pipe dream and Aqib rips chains off and Suh stomps on players, and Peters throws flags in the stands and it's more of the same ole same old crap by all of these all-pro players?

I'm on board with these guys calming most of their usual on field flag drawing football antics in 2018 season. I might be naive because I believe they want to win a championship and the McVay culture is the real deal. I never guarantee anything and those that know me on this board will concur.

Anyway, If they fail to make the playoffs or get bounced early, bump this post and I won't share my thoughts for the 2019 season..

I'm sinking with McVay, Wade on Snead on all of these moves for the 2018 season.

(and no i haven't forgotten about brandin cooks)
