I heard a GM or a former GM talking about the list. Knowing that all team scour each other's lists, they would intentionally put two or three guys that they have Apsley no interest in drafting on the list to try and get other teams maybe to make a move on them knowing that all teams scour each other's lists, they would intentionally put two or three guys that they have absolutely no interest in drafting on the list to try and get other teams maybe to make a move on them.
I don't follow college football closely enough to know which of these guys are probably red herrings for other teams but I'm sure there's a couple. Maybe her college football guys can tell us who want to see this really doesn't fit
