I found this to be an interesting interview specifically in regard to the Atlanta game. Personally I felt that losing Brockers at the end of the first half really hurt the rams. They could stop the falcons in the 2nd half. Snead confirmed those observations. I wonder if AO was particularly bad in that game and caused the rams to sour on him despite the extension.
I agree. It's hard for me to imagine the Falcons repeatedly stuffing the ball down our throats with an available Brockers. Losing him was huge.
As for Ogletree...
I understand that he wasn't the greatest of tacklers (even when he was healthy), but if memory serves me, I thought he was essentially playing with one arm after injuring the other in the Arizona game. I suspect that it was his tackling performance overall that made Wade feel that he was expendable. Too bad...I liked him.
