Our past QB was SB MVP.....just wow.
Shows how important that how a player is used in what scheme...kinda matters!!
I partly agree with that about Foles. The coaches did well with him in the post-season there. But he's still Foles.
Every season from 2015 on where Foles has had multiple starts, he has some good games mixed in with some REALLY bad games. And I mean
streaks of really bad games. That includes 2014 and 2015. 2017 was no different.
So yeah it was coaching (Pederson did a good job with that offense) BUT they also lucked out with Foles recovering during the post-season from some typical Foles style REALLY REALLY bad games at the end of the regular season.
Let's pretend for a moment that the Eagles traded Foles somewhere to be a starter. The team in question has a good coach and scheme. My prediction? He's the same Foles. He will have good games and then streaks of Foles-level bad really ineffective games.
Granted he had a good streak last year in the post-season and granted Pederson did a good job setting him up to win (albeit against a very lackluster defense in the superbowl).
He's still Foles though. The Rams will do better against the Eagles if Foles is the starter.
He had good games with LA in 2015 too.
