I was always very passionate about his skills and that maybe he could have been a HOFer because of them. Until 1999 I never like the results....he had it all in my opinion: pretty big, fast, smart, hands etc. I thought he could have been like Rod Woodson, but I was wrong. He didn't work hard enough in LA, in his own words, because of the night life, then in St Louis he said he settled down--that may reveal why he never attained multiple pro bowls (from memory in an interview, kids).
He never looked like he was running full speed; maybe that is why he was so fast (gliding?).
