That was me who posted it and I agree. Proven>Potential EVERY time. Now it would be nice if we can sign him too but if he plays well enough this year ( and I think he will) McVay will make sure he stays a Ram. If the Rams supposedly offered Sammy $14 mil and he ended up getting $16 mil, that hardly seems like a lot to increase your offer to retain him. They easily could have paid him the $16 mil but chose not to for a reason or reasons unknown to us. I do think Cooks will get $16 mil.
