After being injured in 2014 and 2015 he's rebounded well in terms of pass rushing, for those who like PFF (I don't like their grades but their unique stats are good) he's avereaged over 50 pressures the last two years, pressures are sacks, but QB hits, plus hurries.

Since 2009, excepting his two injured seasons, he's averaged just over 67 pressures a year. He never became the run stuffer his dad was, but in terms of rushing the passer, Long has been excellent in his career. When he was drafted I posted at the time he wasn't worth the 2nd overall pick, he was a late first round talent, but I also knew he had to take him, Spagsveney were too greedy and wouldn't take the Ravens offer to move down, but who would we have taken instead?

But he was a good, but not great player, far, far, far above average.
