It's another to do so by parting with multiple 1st round picks AND handing out a mega-contract (double whammy) when you have one mega-deal pending (Donald) and another likely on the horizon (Goff). And are they really going to go the next two years without a draft pick in the top 80-90 overall? They've been good overall at drafting but nobody is that good.
Agreed. I'd say no to this trade.
I'm probably in the minority in that I'd say no to even just the one first rounder. I'd rather the Rams use that to grab best edge/linebacker/O-line possible.
Find a speedster later in the draft.
I really don't trust OBJ to "grow up" any time soon, and can see him causing all kinds of problems on and off the field. Plus, as you mention, the cap hit and the pressure on the rest of the extensions, etc.
