If there’s been one common theme with the Los Angeles Rams this offseason, it’s that they’re unafraid to make bold moves involving other teams’ outcasts. First it was Marcus Peters, then it was Aqib Talib – two outspoken cornerbacks who have had a history of on-field incidents.

On Monday, the Rams landed Ndamukong Suh, a player who’s been deemed “dirty” by pundits and his peers, while also reportedly causing a stir in the locker room here and there. It was another huge move from Les Snead and the Rams’ front office, adding yet another former first-round pick and All-Pro to the defense.

The question now becomes this: How will Sean McVay, Wade Phillips and the entire coaching staff handle all these personalities? McVay had a simple answer on Tuesday.

He’s (probably) not wrong. Phillips dominates on Twitter and in the locker room, which is why so many players love playing for him. In addition to being praised by defensive guys across the league, Phillips is one of the best coordinators in the NFL.

He should have no trouble handling all the personalities and egos in the locker room.
