Ok, I'll try. They think OBJ is better than Sammy Watkins IMO. They didn't think Sammy was worth the money he got from KC but they think OBJ will worth what they are offering him. The Rams obviously didn't value SW as high as a lot of people here did. Hope that helps.

This much I'd bet a lot of money on: Snead and McVay aren't doing this to "make a splash." They already just brought on a TON of talent and an equal amount of potential headache this offseason. AND tremendous pressure to win. "Splash"? Silliness.

In related news, in one year this team will have gone from pitiful sad sack to a situation where if they DON'T at least play in the Superbowl a lot of folks will say they underachieved.

Has anyone every seen anything like that turnaround in expectations?
