Who said he "wants to be a top notch GM"? Maybe he only wanted to be a middle notch GM. lol (in that case, he succeeded )

My point is that so many people "projected" him to be a star that someone else would have drafted him high too. At the time, it was considered a good-safe pick by many so called experts. Nobody could have predicted he was going to bust like he did. Just like NOBODY could have predicted Donald was going to be this good either. You just never know what you are going to get.

So I guess no other "top notch GM" has ever missed on a pick? I am not thrilled it was us either but many others would have glady drafted him too. Personally I wanted Matthews due to his bloodline. And just for the record, I do NOT think Snead is a "top notch GM" lol. I think Snead missed a bunch of picks, not just GRob! I was hoping he would go when Fish got fired.
