I found ‘Path to the Draft’ most enjoyable when it was a segment on ‘Total Access’. At that point it was just Mayock breaking down film while Rich Eisen asked him some questions. Since it went to the hour long format I find it less interesting. They cover the same prospects over and over as they discuss the needs of each NFL team. Most of the time is dedicated to discussing potential first round picks. After one week there’s nothing left to say. I’d like to see more in lesser known prospects. I also don’t understand why they send Mayock to cover pro days. I think anybody can discuss 40 times and the fluidity of ‘Joe Prospect’ movement invarious drills. I find Mayock most intriguing when he’s discussing film. Anyway, I will watch the first episode to see if the for,at has changed, but if it hasn’t I doubt I make ir through the whole thing.
