He could have been pretty ugly about it. He saw his role diminish and he likely was only 80 to 85 % healthy all year. He was able to help just enough and perhaps with a healthy offseason and a full knowledge of play book he can again be a threat and impact player down field.

I think he shows not only character to redo his deal but also shows that his relationship with the organization and team is much better than I would anticipate. Assuming he stays with Rams he will be a bigger part of the offense I am betting.

For those who feel he can't be but were all in on retaining Watkins isn't that what we expected McVay to do for Sammy? get him more involved in what we do?
