The kid is an elite talent. Moreover, one who loves the game and studies his opponents thoroughly. One who is driven to win games. Very affordable for 2 years.
What’s not to like about all those things?
Having said all that, the kid needs to channel his passions better. With this coaching staff and these teammates, I think he can and he will.
I’m not gonna cross that end of contract bridge until we come to it.
My prediction? MP is all about winning and he’s on a team that’s gonna win plenty for these next 2 years. He will settle down and enjoy being a big part of all of it.
