I want to see Sullivan back for 2018 for sure while drafting a center in April. They managed Sullivan well and with giving him Wednesdays off every week it gave Blythe a chance to be prepared to play the 2-3 times he had to give them snaps. Same could hold true for a 3rd-4th round draft pick.
With Barwin, my guess is the discussion is about 'keeping in touch' and that after the Draft he could be someone they bring back in a rotational/leadership role on a modest deal.
