The Rams have probably had some calls for Tavon, but his contract puts that idea to rest right away.

So, Rams call him in to re-do his contract, then that opens the door for a trade. Maybe to a team he would like to go to.

Put it this way.........We cut Tavon, any other team is not going to pay him that contract anyways. They will tear up the old contract and sign him to a lesser deal.

Restructuring the contract now allows Tavon more flexibility.........Rams are actually doing him a favor.
