It all comes down to what a team gains vs what they lose during free agency....with the size contract being the most important variable.
Right now the Rams have lost 2 players who signed huge contracts. They would result in 3rds or 4ths....depending on the size of other free agent contracts.
However, if the Rams sign a player or players to similar size contracts, it could nullify the Watkins or Johnson losses.
We have to wait until free agency ends.
Also, The loss of Carrier will count in the Rams favor...although he would only bring a 7th, or 6th at best. Any comp pick helps, especially since they can now be traded.
