Since 2004, in the 13 seasons he has coached, he's only spent money on 5 ILB free agents.

None of the signing were high profile players, the contracts were usually one or two years, the dollar amounts equate to about $1.5M - $2.5M in today's dollars.

In that same time period, he has only drafted 3 ILBs.

He usually plays who he inherits at that position and fills in with UDFAs.
