Does anyone actually think if he played all year last year that Vikings team doesn't make the PO's? Actually imo they would have gone 15-1 at worst, after which Bradford, not Cousins would have gotten the richest deal in history.
Yeah I know about his injuries and he's probably one more long term one away from retirement but do people think NFL exec's just hand out money? NFL football is the most ruthless sport of them all. THE reason Bradford continues to get paid is because when on the field he is an all world arm talent with the smarts to boot.
I remember the foolish talk that "Keenum would get twice, maybe 3x what Bradford gets..."
I cannot predict Sam's health but what I will predict is; a) Cousins will be a MAJOR let-down in MN. Vikings 8-8, 9-7 at best and, b) Keenum will return to Keenum "form" in Denver and that won't end well either. That said, I am VERY happy for Case who seems to be one of the very best guys in the league.
