The report after the Shields signing and Talib trade was that the Rams still had an unequivocal desire to re-sign NRC.

But I think he wants to test the market. He didn't get paid much last year, this is his chance to see if he can do better.

If the price is right, I'm certain he'll be back. But if he cost more than $3 - $4M, he's gone IMO.
