You echo my thought about half the field reads being used.
He is going to improve reading left and they need to mirror some of the routes they used on the right more often.
The TE play and involvement should improve which should help things get more flexible and hopefully expand the offence.
Goff could have hit the 4000+yds Mark easy last year.
McVay actually dialed Goff back at the end of some games.
I think it was a good. Thing for many reasons besides using Gurleys talents. Goff can keep working to improve reading coverages and audible.
He can target personal goals operating within team concepts. and shoot. He may never speak it out loud but growth attainable goals such as maybe 35 TDs and 4500 yds passing are well in his reach this season and I don't think he will hit less than 30 and 4000.
If he had hit those higher marks in year 1 I might jump on the regress train myself.
