Then I thought the Niners might be. But they extended Goodwin and already have a guy who handles Watkins position in Garcon.
So who might be willing to heavily overpay for Watkins?
The one franchise that jumps to the top for me is Dallas.
They seem to prefer a WR system where one guy is "the man".
It had been Dez Bryant; no more.
Might they take a chance on Allen, coming off an ACL? Maybe.
Some think it might be Chicago. They might be willing; but unless Watkins loses his mind, he won't even consider Chicago and playing outdoors on a frozen field.
Anyway, Dallas is my best guess as the team that may pursue Watkins the hardest.
