Hmmm, 32...but if he still has his legs.....and we are ok with behavioral problems we have 2 pro bowl quality CBs...last time we had two great COVER corners was 1985---(I don't count Jerry Gray as a cover corner, sorry about that ). 32 years ago, maybe even 33.
THis could be like a OJ Simpson trade to the 9ers though, but then again this is for a 5th round, this isn't 2 number ones;
His base salary is good/great (no signing bonus prorations!!!) considering his ability, and we can cut him. One of the great trades we have made.
Well, if we get a nose tackle and a top Edge rusher, we REALLLLLLY will be a top 5 D. [finding an ILB will be easy].
So, we beat out SF twice now for corners--and the Pats once...not bad Snead. Am I missing something, pinch me?
