I'm half joking. But only half.
I fell for the Horns primarily cuz of the Fearsome Foursome. Deacon, Merlin, Lundy, Grier and company. At nine years old, I thought they were waay cool. Soon others joined them, but they stayed with that setup through thick and thin. I'm probably forgetting years when they tried something else . . . but they've had a tradition of 4/3 D going back decades.
I seriously prefer that.
All of that said, I hope Wade and company can get the right players to fit his scheme. One would think that a space-eating, hogmolly at NT is key. But it also looks like they're basically blowing up the backers too. If they don't get this right -- and I think they
will -- the Rams are going to have to score even more points than last year to compete for the Whole Enchilada. I love it when the Rams have a really strong defense, so I hope that's not going to be the way it all plays out.
Here's to finding excellent Front Seven guys via the Draft and FA!
