Good post, I know what you mean.

It took me some time, admittedly, to really associate the board with the Rams.... and yeah, I know that sounds strange. I grew up with the Ram's alone - meaning no other Ram fans anywhere near me. When the internet began I separated the two... nice to find Ram fans BUT...had no experience discussing the Ram's with others. Also, I was haughty... I was a Ram fan and then there were all of you. As time went by I came to learn the error of my ways -

It was kind of beaten into me, actually. Today I look back and the best way I can think to describe it by using an Abraham Lincoln quote - "The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battle-field, and patriot grave, to every living heart and hearth-stone, all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature." The mystic chords being, obviously, the Rams. - JamesJM
