It's okay to have one or two in a otherwise solid clubhouse. But if you bring in too many, it's no longer solid. It begins to take on the personality of the most aggressive headcases then.
In general, I didn't like the vibe under Fisher. No inside info, of course, but the end result appeared to me that he coddled, if not outright encouraged, knuckleheads. I don't want that for my favorite team at all, for a host of reasons. Even from a cold-eyed perspective, putting aside things like sportsmanship, fair play, etc. etc. . . . it tends not to work. It tends to lead to losing seasons.
I don't think McVay wants that.
