Don't tell me about draft picks and developing your young WR's. That's all wishful thinking because when you DRAFT A PLAYER you "HOPE" he's as good as Watkins.
In my gut.......If the Rams don't Franchise Tag any player........I have a feeling that they are going to long term Joyner and Watkins to VERY NICE DEALS. We have cap space and they want to keep these 2 players for a few more years.
They didn't franchise him. They can still sign him to a long term contract.

You say 3-4 years. OK, what is it per year? Would you do it at the cost of Gurley? Donald? Goff? Because you're going to need money for them.
I would love Watkins. But if it is all business and I was Watkins, I would go somewhere out of California to save a bundle on taxes and go to an offense where I was the man.
Anyway, looking forward to your answer, so if he signs somewhere else, we can see if someone else would have paid more than you. Or less.
