Gary Green

Probably already noted by others, but to me, the Peters trade brings me back to the mid 80s when the Rams were a young, upcoming team and they traded for Gary Green, also of the Chiefs, to bolster their young secondary. Made them a really strong defense, and one of the best secondaries in the league. In fact, I recall Danny White saying that, having played both the Rams and the Bears in the same season (forget which one, but it was THAT Bears team) -- he said the Rams had the better secondary.

Great trade -- hope they can keep Peters long term.
