The price tag for Watkins is all over the place. While Reggie Wayne isn't an expert GM he had the Ravens signing him because they need a WR
and he said he wouldn't cost that much. People here think he's worth 13/14/15 million a year. There may well be Teams with cap space (Cleveland, SF)
who may have no problem paying him that much in a long term deal. My question is, if the Rams were to tag him does that preclude him from testing the
market, and does that allow the Rams and Watkins time to work on a deal?
