Kansas City police tweets funny message about terms of Marcus Peters trade

If you thought Chiefs fans hated the Marcus Peters trade on Friday, they are even more irate now that the terms of the contract have been announced.

The Chiefs will be trading Peters and a sixth-round pick in this year's draft to the Rams for a fourth-round pick this year and 2019 second-round pick, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.

If that doesn't seem like much of a return to you, well, you're not alone.

Arrowhead Pride, the Chiefs blog, tweeted: "Chiefs fans are already tweeting @kcpolice to report a robbery at One Arrowhead Drive…send someone right away plz"

The Kansas City police department tweeted back: "We have riot gear available, if needed."

However, about an hour later, the police department deleted the tweet
