Not much need to revisit what this person said. I agree with it from top to bottom.
Paying Watkins more than around $8mil would be foolish. He is simply NOT going to get a lot of targets with Kupp and Woods and Gurley catching passes. His production just doesn't warrant true #1 WR bucks.
No point to keeping Austin. Clearly McVay phased him out.
What wasn't mentioned was trading for Talib. His contract, as is, is quite reasonable. He's owned $11 mil in base salary in '18, and only $8 mil in '19. Rams ought to be willing to give up a 6th for him and I'm sure Denver would rather have the 6th than cutting him outright. Good bye TruJ, hello Talib.
Yep. If the Rams can't find the right deal for Joyner, this is the guy to franchise.
As for Quinn, if they can't trade him, perhaps they should just keep him. The Bucs and Skins need outside pass rushers. Or, perhaps, there's a player for player deal available that would give the Rams an ILB. Because I just can't see the Rams keeping Barron. In the end, Quinn is a 4-3 pass rushing DE; not a 3-4 OLB.
