Decided to have a light Friday practice, took Saturday off, and only had a shooting practice on Sunday
and came out stale and a step slow on Monday and lost a conference game against a team we should have beaten. 7-2 now instead of 8-1 with 1 game to go and no chance of conference title.
Similar to the Rams losing in the playoffs because they lost that competitive edge that last week in the regular season.
I have seen it over and over. Stop competing and you get spanked. Can't always just turn it off and turn it back on like a light switch.
