To me, the difference between being 14-2 and 11-5 is the horrific play and coaching of the Rams when trailing late in the game. fix that and the Rams are at least a round deeper in the playoffs.
A large part of the off season should be getting better in crunch time when trailing. This team was so good playing with the lead and so so bad in close games when trailing. Goff looked completely unprepared as did McVay. I have never seen the entire play clock being used when trailing like the Rams did.
To me: This is the #1 need to improve in offseason. You have to be able to win a close game when trailing versus, if you are losing in 4th quarter and time is an element, the game is over (WHICH IS WHERE THE RAMS ARE CURRENTLY)
